Reactive Studio ("we", "our", or "us") operates the DiskForge application for macOS. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application.

DiskForge is designed with privacy as a core principle. The application operates entirely on your local device and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or telemetry data is gathered
• No crash reports are sent to us
• No cookies or tracking technologies are used
• No account creation or login is required
• No network requests are made by the application

3. Local Data Storage

DiskForge stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Scan Results: Results from disk scans are saved in your local Application Support directory so they can be displayed between sessions.
• Activity Logs: A history of scan and cleanup operations is stored locally for your reference.
• Preferences: Your app settings (language, scan depth, etc.) are stored in the standard macOS UserDefaults system on your device.

All locally stored data can be deleted at any time through the Settings panel within the app ("Reset All Data").

4. Disk Access

DiskForge requires access to your file system to perform its core function — scanning directories and identifying disk usage. The app:

• Only reads file metadata (name, size, modification date) within your home directory
• Does not read the contents of your files
• Uses the macOS Trash system for cleanup (all deletions are reversible)
• Respects macOS Transparency, Consent, and Control (TCC) permissions

5. Third-Party Services

DiskForge does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, APIs, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

6. Children's Privacy

DiskForge does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for use by users of all ages.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Since we do not collect any contact information, we encourage you to review this page periodically.
